Kokushi Matsumoto is Japan's Chief Instructor of Krav Maga and CEO of Krav Maga Japan Co., Ltd. In 1998, he started training in Krav Maga at the Krav Maga National Training Center in Los Angeles under US chief instructor, Darren Levine.
He also trained in Muay Thai, Boxing, Shoot Fighting, and Jujitsu in many counties under world recognized Experts.
In 2001, he traveled to Israel, Finland, Sweden, Australia, and Poland to improve his Krav Maga and CQB Skill.
In December 2001, he was certified as an official Krav Maga instructor (the first official Krav Maga instructor in Japan).
In 2002, he was also certified as a lead instructor of Krav Maga Worldwide.
In October of the same year, he came back to Japan to spread Krav Maga.
In March 2004, he opened the Krav Maga Tokyo Training Center in Tokyo.
Currently he is teaching Krav Maga internationally to many people, including civilians, security companies, police officers, militaries and Japan Self Defense Forces, for "a peaceful world", that is The Aim of Krav Maga.
